STAMFORD TRAIN STATION

Problem

The Stamford Ct. train station is a very popular stop on the Metro-North railroad. The station had some issues with slips and falls over the course of several years and the property manager turned to Amstep Products for help. The entire tread needed to be covered and the product needed to stand up to heavy foot traffic on a daily basis.

Solution

Amstep 500 series stair treads were installed on all staircases. Black treads with Yellow sightline option were chosen for maximum safety. 500 series stair treads are the “go to” choice for full stair depth safety and stand up to heavy foot traffic. The application worked out so well there have been additional installations on several Metro-North stations coming out of New York City.
