Series 200 Anti-Slip Safety Stair Nosings For New Stairs
Anti-slip safety for medium to heavy pedestrian use, indoor or outdoor stairs
Amstep 200 Series is suitable for both indoor and outdoor stairs. Amstep 200 Series’ proven anti-slip safety is provided by super hard abrasives locked into a sturdy, extruded aluminum base of alloy 6063-T6, heat treated for high-strength. They are ideal for medium to heavy pedestrian use with poured or precast concrete, terrazzo, steel pan cement-filled or wood stairs.
The tread base shall consist of heat treated 6063-T6 Amstep Products, LLC extruded aluminum. The abrasive filler material shall be bonded and locked into the channels provided in the extruded tread base. Treads will have a coefficient of friction 1.02 dry, 0.98 wet per ASTM F609-79.
