Tread Installation

Amstep treads can be easily installed over stairs of virtually any material, including concrete, metal, wood, marble, even stone.

It takes no special training to install Amstep's renovation stair treads. Just follow this simple, three part procedure:

  1. Level the worn stairs with Quick-Setting Leveling Compound.











  2. Apply Construction Adhesive to the underside of tread.











  3. Secure tread in place and the stair is ready for use.
