Amstep 100 Series Restoration Nosing

Amstep 100 Series has a solid, non-slip surface, gently radiused nosing edge, no projection beyond the riser and a minimum exposure of aluminum on the walking surface. They are the ideal safety stair nosing for light pedestrian and light-wheeled indoor traffic.

How to specify Amstep 100 stair nosings

The nosings shall be barrier-free and consist of a Amstep Products, LLC homogeneous epoxy abrasive formulation formed and cured upon an extruded aluminum base. The epoxy abrasive shall extend over and form the curved front edge of the nosing. Treads will have a coefficient of friction 0.99 dry, 0.93 wet per ASTM F-609-79. The base of the nosings shall be extruded aluminum alloy No. 6063.T5, heat treated. Nosings shall be 3/8" thick.
